ZnapWatch is innovatively bridging the gap between luxury watch dealers and collectors. Their subscription-based platform features versatile listings of high-end Swiss and vintage watches. Interested buyers can instantly get in touch with reliable dealers and inspect historical price charts to make informed decisions. ZnapWatch strives to give personal concierge service to both the dealers and buyers.
ZnapWatch wanted to build an app that facilitates dealers in creating watch listings and automatically converts product specifications mentioned in chat into actual descriptions via WhatsApp. Moreover, they sought integration of real-time price charts for buyers alongside a reliable subscription model. Finding a seamless tech solution that aligns with ZnapWatch’s multifaceted vision proved to be a challenging yet rewarding process.
We favored Odoo over Shopify to build ZnapWatch’s platform. Due to its modular and intuitive business management capabilities, we combined e-commerce, CRM, subscriptions, analytics, and inventory into Odoo’s suite. This saved our client the headache of handling isolated databases. Moreover, we created personalized Odoo modules for the automation of WhatsApp listings and implemented WatchCharts for real-time pricing. We designed their app to sync with the web, ensuring smooth accessibility.
The business foundation was built entirely on Odoo. For deployment infrastructure, we used Odoo.sh. Custom integrations were done with the help of Node.js, Puppeteer, and Python. For mobile development, we incorporated Flutter for cross-platform functionality. To establish cloud infrastructure, we used AWS EC2 and Zyte.
